How to Borrow and Repay Assets on Margin
Manually borrow assets from the margin lending pool and repay loans to manage your margin positions and interest costs.
Navigate to the Borrow Panel
Go to Margin Account > Borrow. Select the asset you want to borrow (e.g., USDT for buying, or BTC for short selling). The panel shows the current hourly interest rate, your maximum borrowable amount, and your existing loans.
Enter the Borrow Amount
Type the amount you want to borrow. The system displays the resulting margin ratio change and estimated daily interest cost. Your maximum borrowable amount depends on your collateral value, existing loans, and the asset-specific lending limits.
Confirm and Receive Funds
Tap 'Borrow' to confirm. The borrowed amount is instantly available in your Margin account for trading. Interest begins accruing immediately at the displayed rate and is calculated on an hourly basis.
Repay Your Loans
Navigate to Margin Account > Repay. Select the loan you want to repay and enter the amount. You can repay partially or in full. Repaying reduces your interest obligations and improves your margin ratio. You can also enable Auto-Repay to automatically repay loans when you receive funds.
Interest-Only Repayment
If you want to maintain your borrowed position but reduce accumulated interest costs, use the 'Pay Interest Only' option. This settles any accrued interest without reducing the principal loan amount. This helps keep your margin account clean and your costs transparent.
