How to Buy Crypto with a Credit or Debit Card
Purchase cryptocurrency instantly using your Visa or Mastercard through one of four integrated fiat payment providers.
Open the Fiat Gateway
Navigate to Products > Fiat Gateway or tap 'Buy Crypto' from the home dashboard. The fiat gateway connects you with regulated payment providers to purchase crypto using traditional payment methods.
Select the Cryptocurrency and Amount
Choose the crypto you want to buy (e.g., BTC, ETH, USDT) and enter the fiat amount. The system fetches quotes from all available providers (Moonpay, Mercuryo, Simplex, Transak) and shows the best rates.
Choose a Payment Provider
Compare quotes from different providers. Each shows the exchange rate, fees, and total cost. Rates and fees vary by provider, payment method, and region. Select the provider offering the best overall value.
Complete the Payment
You will be redirected to the provider's secure payment page. Enter your card details, billing address, and complete any required identity verification (first-time purchases may require additional verification with the provider). Confirm the payment.
Receive Your Crypto
After payment confirmation, the purchased cryptocurrency is deposited directly into your Midas Spot wallet. Processing time varies by provider but is typically under 10 minutes. Check your wallet balance and transaction history for confirmation.
