How to Use Auto-Subscribe for Staking Products
Automatically re-subscribe to staking products when positions mature. Maximize yield with zero manual effort.
Auto-subscribe puts idle balances into earn products without you asking each time. It is convenience with a condition attached: a balance that auto-subscribes into a locked product is a balance you cannot spend, so restrict it to flexible products unless you mean otherwise. Think of it as a sweep rather than a strategy: it keeps idle balances from doing nothing, and the settings are what stop it from tying up money you meant to spend.
Before you start
- The preferences set deliberately β which assets, which product types, what minimum to leave free.
Enable Auto-Subscribe
Navigate to Earn > Settings or to a specific product position. Toggle on 'Auto-Subscribe'. When enabled, your principal and rewards are automatically re-subscribed to the same product when a fixed-term position matures.
Configure Preferences
Choose whether auto-subscribe applies to the principal only, rewards only, or both. You can also set a preferred lock period for renewal. If the exact product is no longer available, the system finds the closest matching alternative.
Review Auto-Subscribe Actions
In your Earn History, auto-subscribe events are logged with a special label. You can see when a position matured, how much was re-subscribed, and the new product terms. This provides full transparency over automated actions.
Disable Anytime
Toggle off auto-subscribe at any point before maturity. The position will then return funds to your Spot wallet upon maturity instead of re-subscribing. This gives you full control while offering the convenience of automated compounding when desired.
If something goes wrong
- A balance you wanted to trade was subscribed.
- Raise the free-balance floor, or limit auto-subscribe to specific assets. Redeeming a flexible product is quick; a locked one is not.
- Auto-subscribe did not act.
- The balance was below the product minimum, or the product was capped. Both appear in the auto-subscribe log.
- Auto-subscribe competes with your trading balance.
- Set a free-balance floor high enough to cover the orders you place in an ordinary week, so the sweep only takes what is genuinely idle.
- Auto-subscribe keeps picking a product you do not want.
- Preferences select by product type rather than by name. Narrow the eligible types, or exclude the asset, rather than redeeming after each pass.
Frequently asked questions
- Which products can it use?
- Whatever you allow in preferences. Flexible-only is the setting most people want.
- Can I turn it off at any time?
- Yes, and existing positions stay as they are β disabling stops future subscriptions only.
- Does it move funds between wallets?
- It subscribes eligible spot balances. It does not touch futures collateral or margin positions.
- How often does it run?
- On the schedule stated in the preferences, sweeping eligible balances above the minimum at each pass.
- Does it subscribe rewards as well as principal?
- Where the reward asset is eligible and above the minimum, yes, which is a simple way to compound without attention.
- Does it wait for a minimum balance?
- Yes β balances below the product minimum are skipped, which is why small residual amounts stay untouched.
