How to Configure Copy Trading Settings and Allocation
Fine-tune your copy trading parameters including capital allocation, risk limits, and trade size preferences.
Access Subscription Settings
Go to Copy Trading > Subscriptions and tap the settings icon next to the lead trader you are following. The settings panel lets you control how your capital is deployed when copying trades.
Set Total Copy Amount
This is the maximum capital you allocate to this specific lead trader. The system will use proportional sizing based on this amount. Set an amount you are comfortable risking, as copy trading carries the same risks as the lead trader's strategy.
Configure Per-Trade Limits
Set the maximum amount per copied trade. This prevents any single position from consuming too much of your allocation. You can set this as a fixed amount or a percentage of your total copy allocation.
Set Stop-Loss and Take-Profit Overrides
Optionally set your own stop-loss and take-profit levels that override the lead trader's settings. This gives you additional risk management control. For example, you might set a tighter stop-loss than the lead trader uses.
Choose Copy Existing Positions
Toggle whether to copy the lead trader's currently open positions when you subscribe, or only copy new trades opened after your subscription starts. Copying existing positions enters you at the current market price, not the original entry price.
