Navigating the Midas App: A Complete Tour
Get familiar with the Midas interface. Explore the home dashboard, markets, trading screens, wallets, and account settings.
The app is organised around what you are trying to do rather than what the product is called internally: markets to look, trade to act, wallets to hold, profile to configure. This tour walks the tabs in the order a new account tends to meet them, and points out the few places where something important is one level deeper than it looks.
Before you start
- A Midas account. Everything in the tour except placing an order can be explored before funding anything.
- The current version of the app, or the web platform — the layout described here matches both.
Home Dashboard
The Home tab is your landing screen. It displays a market overview with top movers, your portfolio summary (when signed in), trending trading pairs sorted by Hot, Gainers, and Losers, and quick-access tiles for popular features like Deposit, Buy Crypto, and Earn.
Markets Tab
The Markets tab shows all available trading pairs organized by category: Spot, Futures, and Options. Use the search bar to find specific pairs. Tap any pair to see its detailed chart with candlestick data, technical indicators, and order book depth.
Trade Tab
The Trade tab opens the spot trading interface. Here you can place market, limit, and stop orders. The screen shows the current order book, recent trades, and your open orders. Switch between Buy and Sell panels, and toggle between Spot, Margin, and Options views using the tabs at the top.
Futures Tab
The Futures tab is your derivatives trading workspace. It supports leverage up to 125x, cross and isolated margin modes, and one-way or hedge position modes. The interface includes the futures order book, your active positions, a liquidation price calculator, and funding rate information.
Wallets Tab
The Wallets tab gives you a consolidated view of all balances across your Spot, Futures, Earn, and Margin wallets. From here you can deposit, withdraw, and transfer assets between wallets. Tap any asset for a detailed transaction history.
Profile and Settings
Tap your avatar or the profile icon to access personal settings, security options (2FA, passkeys, device management), KYC verification status, notification preferences, VIP tier information, and display currency settings. This is also where you find connected accounts.
Quick Access Features
Beyond the main tabs, Midas offers additional features accessible from the Home screen or navigation menu: P2P Trading for direct peer-to-peer transactions, Copy Trading to follow expert traders, Trading Bots for automated strategies, Earn for staking products, Convert for instant swaps, and Fiat Gateway for buying crypto with traditional currency.
If something goes wrong
- A tab you were told about is not on your screen.
- Some surfaces appear only once they apply to your account: the fiat gateway and P2P need identity verification, and derivatives tabs are hidden where local rules do not allow them. Verification status is in Profile.
- Prices look frozen.
- Market data arrives over a live connection that a flaky network can drop. Pull to refresh, or leave and re-enter the tab, which re-establishes the stream. If the whole app is quiet, check the connection indicator before assuming the market has stopped.
- You cannot find a feature you used on the website.
- A few desktop-first surfaces — deeper charting, some reporting — live on the web platform and are reached from the same account rather than duplicated in the app.
Frequently asked questions
- Is the web platform the same as the app?
- It is the same account and the same balances, with a layout that suits a bigger screen. A handful of analysis and reporting surfaces are web-first, which is why frequent traders tend to use both.
- Where do I find my transaction history?
- In Wallets, per asset, and in the profile's activity view for a combined list. Both export, which is what most people want at the end of a tax year.
- Can I change the language and display currency?
- Yes, both live in Profile settings. Display currency changes how balances are valued on screen; it does not convert anything you hold.
- What is the quickest route to a price alert?
- Open the asset from Markets and set the alert from its detail screen. Alerts are delivered as push notifications, so allow notifications when the app first asks — turning them on later is a trip through system settings.
