How to Sell Crypto on Midas P2P
Sell your cryptocurrency to other users for fiat currency through the secure Midas P2P escrow system.
Open the P2P Sell Tab
Navigate to P2P Trading and switch to the 'Sell' tab. You will see buy ads from users looking to purchase crypto. Filter by your preferred fiat currency and payment method to find compatible buyers.
Select a Buy Ad
Choose an ad from a buyer with good reputation. Review their completion rate, total trades, and feedback from previous counterparties. Check the offered price, payment method, and any special terms before proceeding.
Create the Sell Order
Enter the amount of crypto you want to sell. The equivalent fiat amount is calculated automatically. Your crypto will be locked in escrow once you confirm. This protects the buyer by ensuring the crypto is available for release upon payment confirmation.
Wait for Payment
The buyer will make payment using the agreed method. You will receive a notification when they mark the payment as completed. Verify the payment in your bank or payment account. Do not release the crypto until you have confirmed the full payment amount has been received.
Release the Crypto
Once you have verified the payment, tap 'Release' to transfer the crypto from escrow to the buyer. The fiat funds are now in your bank account. If you do not receive payment within the time limit, the order is automatically cancelled and your crypto is returned from escrow.
